Om Sairam, Baba is still alive. I am a very small devotee of Baba living in US for past 20 years. I am encouraging my sons to have an undeterred faith in Baba and accept His decisions and follow His teachings. I am sharing my third experience with all my Sai devotee brothers and sisters. My day begins with Baba’s name and ends with His name. Before I share my experience, I would like to thank everyone who is running this platform; it increases our devotion and faith in our Baba and reminds me every day that Baba is still alive. Now coming to my experience.

My son got his admission in a very reputed university for his undergrad. However, he was not admitted in the college of Engineering of the school. Engineering was his intended major for his undergrad degree. He was accepted in other Engineering schools in some other good universities but not in the one that he wanted to go. He was determined on going to this University only as this Engineering school is amongst top 5 in nation. After his first year, he applied for a transfer but his request was denied, and not only denied but they suggested that he should look for a career outside of engineering. My son was devastated and very disheartened. He tried setting up an appointment with the advisor and head of the engineering department but they did not accept the appointment to meet him and told him that there was no need to reapply. We lost all hopes and felt shattered in our hearts. I was dying of guilt each day for not pushing him to go to other school where he was accepted in the college of Engineering.

My son still took technical classes in his summer semester. He got A’s in both of his courses. After his summer break for a week he went back to his college. He was determined to work hard in all his technical courses and apply for transfer again in fall for spring 2017 semester. He did not leave a single stone unturned and with Baba’s grace he scored A’s in 4 of his courses and one B. On the last day of his semester he said “I did what I could and now nothing is in my hand”. He came home for his winter break but I could feel the stress he was experiencing. The results of the decision were to be intimated to students via email around January 11-13. In the meantime my son started parayan of Sai Satcharitra for 40 days, he finished his parayan on 14th of January. I also started parayan of Sai Satcharitra for 9 days. I began the reading on Wednesday 4th of January and finished it on Thursday 12th of January.

As the days were passing our anxiety was heightening but we had surrendered completely to Baba. Finally, in the morning of January 13th at 9:41 AM we got the email that his request was accepted and he was now a student in the college of Engineering. We were thrilled with excitement. Baba heard us, He gave what my son deserved and worked hard for what he desired. One more thing we noticed that he got his acceptance email on 13th of January at 9:41 AM and when we added all the numbers it comes to 9, Baba’s number. Dear devotees the only thing I will say from my experience that just keep your undeterred faith in Baba, have Shraddha and Saburi and your prayers will be answered.
