Sai Leela- 497 - Baba guided and blessed me with a child
I am a devotee of Baba (31 years) from Patna
Bihar currently residing in Chennai. I have been married since 2015. My husband
and I had decided that we would have a baby after three years. But as time
passed by, in December 2018, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. The doctor
said that we should plan for pregnancy as the thyroid can cause difficulty in
having a child.
Meanwhile when the time was passing by I had dreams of Baba guiding me to pray
to Lord Hanuman. Then in April 2019, I started having pain in my right lower
abdomen. I assumed it to be gas and started to have gas medicines. But the pain
did not go away. Then my husband asked me to visit a doctor. Our doctor asked us
to have an ultrasound. Reports said that I had an endometriosis cyst in my right
ovary, PCOS, and polyps present in the uterus. I could hardly understand what
these diseases were and what was to be done. We met two doctors. One had asked
for surgery to remove the cyst and the other asked to further go for one or more
tests. My mind was blank. I cried. A cancer test was also done to confirm if the
cyst was cancerous or not. With Baba’s grace, reports were negative.
My husband and I lived alone in Chennai and I was very afraid even thinking of
surgery. I prayed to Baba that I didn’t want surgery. Then I decided to come
back to my hometown Patna. In Patna also I met a gynecologist who further told
me to have some tests to see whether I was fertile or not for having a baby.
Little did I know that all these problems could have a very difficult pregnancy
or I could not conceive. When I heard these I really became depressed not
knowing what to do.
While we were searching for another doctor to whom we could refer on Google. I
came to know of a doctor in my hometown. When I opened the page to read about
her, I saw Baba’s big picture behind. That doctor was also just near my home. I
and my husband just went and met her. She was very calm and what gave me hope
was Baba’s picture and idol in her cabin. She checked me and asked me to do
another ultrasound. We did what she said. This time in my reports I didn’t have
polyps and my ovarian cyst was still there. When we met the doctor with the
reports she further asked me to have some blood tests to see how my egg
formation in the ovaries. All by Baba’s grace those reports too came normal.
Then the doctor said that it was not to be worried and prescribed me some
medicine.
I was on medicine from June end till January first week. In this gap, my periods
had stopped. I am in some of Baba’s WhatsApp groups, where I shared my problem
and everyone would somehow motivate and guide me. I thought all of them to be
Baba’s guides. Meanwhile, in September I went with my in-laws to Shirdi for
Baba’s darshan. While I went there one of the devotees from Sai`s WhatsApp group
asked me to ask for a coconut from Dwarkamai for the blessing of a child. And
Indeed Panditji gave me a coconut there. I was very happy. After darshan, I came
back to my hometown.
One day I had a dream where I saw Baba guiding me to a temple of Mata Rani ji. I
was guided to lit Sarso ka Diya (mustard oil lamp) in Mata Rani ji temple. I
started doing it. Then in January 2020 the first week I stopped taking medicine
and the doctor asked me to try for pregnancy once my periods resumed. I had come
back to Chennai and was waiting for my periods to come. In Chennai, I met a
doctor to check the size of the cyst and for a general check-up. Everything was
fine but the doctor said that it would not be easy to get pregnant with my
medical condition. Again in March 2020 just before the Covid lockdown, I and my
husband visited Shirdi.
When we came one morning I had a dream where I saw my husband telling me that I
will be pregnant next month I asked him if Baba had told him so and I was awake
after that.
Time passed by. On 13th May 2020, I did a pregnancy test at home and it came
positive. I could not believe it. My husband and I ran to the doctor. Yes, my
pregnancy was positive and was confirmed by her. The doctor too could not
believe how I became pregnant. She asked me to be cautious as it was Covid at
that time. In June 2020 I came back to my hometown.
My full pregnancy was guided by Baba. He took care of me and my child during the
tough time of Covid too where all my family members got Covid positive but Baba
protected me and my baby. By Baba’s grace, a boy was born in January 2021 whom
we named Saiansh, who is purely a blessing of our Baba.
